Traveller's Gear

The Traveller's Gear is an armor set added in the development versions TiC for MC 1.6.4 and 1.7.10 to replace the Exo-Armor. Like TiC tools, it can be modified, repaired, and does not burn in lava. It also needs to be modified in a Tinker Table. At full durability, it has as many armor points as vanilla Diamond Armor.

Ability: Zoom with Z. (Toggle)

Traveller's Vest

Ability: Swift Swim. Move faster in water (Passive)

Traveller's Wings

Ability: High Jump. Jump two blocks high. (Passive)

Traveller's Boots

Ability: High Step. Automatically walk up one Block walls (Passive)

Clothing

Traveller's Gloves

Ability: None, but modifiers can be added for extra damage or mine speed.

Traveller's Belt

Ability: Swap Hotbar with B. Swaps your current item hotbar with a secondary one stored in the belt. (Toggle)

Modifiers

Each piece of the Traveller's Gear has modifiers specifically made for it. These modifiers can be found in Materials and You: Volume 1.

Goggles

Night Vision

Recipe (Tool station): Potion of Night Vision (The original 3 minute potion with no additional brewing) Flint and Steel must be at full durability.

Effects: Night Vision

Quote: "Apparently carrots and juice are not only good for your eyes, but for your goggles as well. The Night Vision Potion also helps."

Feather Fall

Recipe:

Effects: Allows you to glide down slowly in air

Quote: "You already got wings. If chicken can do it, so can you. Any slime variant can be used."

Boots

Water Walk

Recipe:

Effects: Allows you to walk over water Sneak to sink Does not come with a halo

Quote: "If I put these things on my boots, I'm sure I can walk over water too. What could go wrong?"

Double Jump

Recipe: 1/2 (Any slime block can be used)

Effects: Jump while in the air to jump again Can be applied to wings as well

Quote: "Infused with the power of a ghast tear and some slime and piston mechanics, I should be able to repel myself even further into the air."

Lead Boots

Recipe:

Effects: Allows you to walk under water Prevents you from swimming Blub.

Quote: "This iron block has served me well. I want to take it with me, to the bottom of the ocean. Perfect if you want to see where your pet-fish sleeps.

Slimy Soles

Recipe:

Effects: Dampens the fall impact Reduces fall damage taken

Quote: "When I jump on slime, I bounce and don't take damage. I should be able to replicate that effect by putting the slime onto my soles."
