Barricades are used for trading with Village Tinkerers
Oak (Birch, Spruce, or Jungle) Barricades are, and slightly defensive, purposes. They do not count as 1.5 blocks tall, despite looking like a fence, and so cannot keep mobs out unless 2 (8 Barricades) are stacked on top of each other. However, they are highly blast resistant, they can stack in-game holding up to 4 barricades in a single block, and they must be broken individually in order to be fully destroyed. Using these, you can make a wall that defends against TNT, mobs, and players (For a short while) .They also stack in the player's inventory with up to 64 in one slot.
